The Examinations of Patrk Woods of *Braugh (Broughhillstown) town in said County.
Taken before me one of his Majesties Justices of the peace
for said County

Who being duly sworn and Examined Deposeth and saith that
he bought a Silver Knee buckle (T.M) marked) from Michael
Bryan for the sum of Six pence half sterling which Buckle he
since understands was Felonnouly carried away from the house
of John Lawlor of *Batharo (Ratheran) in said County and has been
claimed by Miles Carty as his property and Examt further saith not.
