The Information of Frances
Jackson wife of Henry Jackson of Coolmanna, Barony
of Rathvilly.
Saith that on the night of the
first or morning of the 2nd of April 1821, her
husband was away from home, their Dwelling house
Situate at Coolmanna was feloniasly broken into and
entered by Several men Armed who fired two or more
shots, demanded fire arms and money and threatened
to destroy property. Said persons then proceeded to
plunder said house of Various Articles consisting of
Silver Spoons - some ...?..., a pair of small
clothes. Waistcoat, Shirts , Stocking and other
Articles. Said Frances is unacquainted with the
names of said persons but has heard and believes
that amongst said persons was James Coogan, J. H...gh
? J.Lawler, Peter Doyle of Coolmanna and John
Reynolds of Killahash (?.)
