The research data compiled in this website section covers surnames Brennan, Corcoran, Coffey, Gahagan and all of their known variations such as Brannon, Brannan, Coffee, Coffey, Coffy, Gaughan, Goaghan, and Geoghegan, Goghan etc., I am also including Surnames Cochrane and Goggin in all record compilations. I have presented the Catholic Church records by spouse's surname. In doing so, I have made many other Irish Surnames readily searchable in this website. (If your Irish ancestor or their family married a Brennan, Corcoran, Coffey or Gahagan or any variations of these surnames they will be presented in the my Catholic Church Records section alphabetically by your ancestor's surname.) I have also been documenting the Frain and McNulty baptismal and marriage records as I work my way through these films. I haven't put any of these records on line. *For the time being, I have taken a break from my detailed analysis of the Leeds in Irish Census records to focus on other sections of my website.

South Bend, Indiana Irish Community: My primary focus over this next month will be in my Irish in South Bend, Indiana section (analyzing the Irish immigrants living on and around Notre Dame Avenue in Ward 4). Thus far I have created pages on over 40 South Bend Irish families from this area (not including my own). While adding more families to this compilation, I have just finished analyzing the Irish families in the 1880 City of South Bend, Indiana, District 162 Census - (ward 2 and most of 4) as well as the District 161 Census (wards 1 and part of 4)

County Mayo, Ireland Microfilm Research: I am currently working my way through the Crossmolina Catholic Parish, County Mayo, Microfilm. I have added Baptismal records through November of 1864 and have more to add through 1875. There are a heavy concentration of Corcorans and Gaughans in this film, but thus far no Coffee's or Brennans. I am also simultaneously creating pages on a variety of record resources (other than the church records) that show Corcorans hailing from the Crossmolina Civil Parish Townlands of Cloonawillin, Keenagh Beg, Letterbrick, Crossmolina among others.
