John Sheridan born circa 1800 in Co.Meath..married
Mary(Ann)Lowrey born circa 1799 in Ireland or England. The first primary
document that I have of the family being in Nova Scotia is the baptismal
for their third son Michael Sheridan in 1836 age two years. The first
child a daughter Catherine was born circa 1827 2., Esther 1829, 3.
John Patrick in 1832, Michael 1836. The other children, Mary 1836,
Jane, 1838, James 1840, Ann, 1843 and Margaret 1847 all born in Enfield,
Hants Co. Nova Scotia.Canada. The family was Roman Catholic. Note:
Mary's birth is 1836 and Michael is 2 years old in 1836 his baptismal
so born in 1834......I believe the family arrived in Nova Scotia (Halifax
) circa 1836..... John Sheridan died 1864 and his wife Mary(Ann)Lowrey
died 1872 in Enfield, Hants Co. Nova Scotia Canada. obituary does
state that he was born in Co. Meath, Ireland |

for Elizabeth TERRY c1833-father George mother Violet(ta)-George was
a policeman enlisted 1837 Navan-posted to Virginia County Cavan Church
of Ireland baptisms records show he had 5 children in Virginia
between 1839 & 1850 he was a head constable
he died there in 1850
