Errigle Cross Cemetery

 

This is the oldest graveyard in Errigle Cieran parish.  It is
located near Ballynasaggart on a windswept hill overlooking the valley.  It
is about 1/2 mile from Errigle Keerogue COI church.

 


This is the gravestone of William and Bridget McCANN located in Errigle
cross graveyard ...

"Inscription: Note from Big River: This stone is exactly as it was carved. Lurgan refers to Lurganboy which is in
