Marche Region

Marche Region is located in East-central Italy.  This is located Northeast of Rome, between
the Eastern slopes of the Sibillini Mountains and the Adriatic Sea.

Marche shares it's borders with Emilia-Romagna and the Republic of San Marino to the North,
Umbria and Toscana to the West, Abruzzo and Lazio to the South

It covers a surface of 9,694 square kilometres, 36% are mountains, 53% hills,
and 11% are plains, along with it's 180 km of Adriatic coastline.
