POINTers in Person (PIP) is an affiliation of POINT (Pursuing Our Italian Names Together), the premiere organization in the United States for exchanging knowledge and surnames of our Italian ancestors.

POINTers In Person was founded in 1992 to increase personal interaction among POINT members and others equally interested in tracing their Italian roots.  It has become so successful that we decided to form our own chapter for the north suburban area of Chicago, the 27^th chapter in the United States!
