Little Family

The following Confederate States Army markers ,all of the CSA stones were the same type and composition. Located in Ganderville Cemetery which is located approximately 1 mile west and 1 mile south of Summers, Washington County, Arkansas. 

Local legend is that the (original settlers) Little family (families) were all Cherokee.  The only marker indicating a member of a Cherokee unit in the CSA. is A. H. S. Little.

Richard B. Venable
2nd Serg. Co. F 19 Ark Inf.
Confederate States Army
March 5, 1842 – January 30, 1923

The dates for Richard Venable’s marker were taken from a family marker. There were no dates on the CSA stone.
