Rachel Bowman, 96, died Sept. 28, 2005 in El Paso, TX. She was born March 10, 1909 at Ganntown, IL the daughter of James A. and Nancy Elizabeth (Carter) Fitch. A resident of El Paso, TX for 3 years, formally of Medicine Lodge, she was a Dietary Aide. She was a member of the 1st Assembly of God Church at Medicine Lodge and El Paso, TX. In 1928 she married J.K. Bowman, he died in 1968.

Survivors include 3 sons; Donald Bowman, Medicine Lake, WA; Jack Bowman, Tekoa, WA; and Richard Bowman, El Paso, TX. 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Funeral service was Monday, October 3, 2005 at 1st Assembly of God Church, Medicine Lodge with Pastor Steve Todd presiding. Burial was at Highland Cemetery, Medicine Lodge. Memorials may be sent to Southwind Hospice or Bob Fitch Missionary Fund in care of Larrison Funeral Home. Personal condolences may be left for the family at www.larrisonmortuary.com.
