Barber County Index, May 18, 1944.

KIOWA SOLDIER IS MISSING IN ACTION

Mr. and Mrs. Ott Circle received a telegram from the War Department last Wednesday afternoon stating that their son, Pvt. Ott Circle Jr., was missing in action April 28. The last word received from Ott Jr., stated he was in England.


Ott S. Circle, US Army, 37504175, PVT, Killed in Action, 3206th Quartermaster Service Company, Entered the Service from: Kansas, Died: 28 April 1944, Missing in Action or Buried at Sea, Tablets of the Missing at Cambridge American Cemetery, Cambridge, England; Awards: Purple Heart. -- American Battle Monuments Commission (ABMC).
