Alice E. Gerstner

HUTCHINSON - Alice E. Gerstner, 76, died Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2005, at Hutchinson Hospital, Hutchinson. A Hutchinson resident since 1976, formerly of Medicine Lodge, she was a homemaker.

She was born March 20, 1929, at Medicine Lodge, the daughter of Clarence W. and Beulah (McGarvin) Cline. On Nov.14, 1946, she married Herman Snyder, Jr., and to this union two children were born.

On May 29, 1976, she married Jimmie D. Gerstner. He survives.

Other survivors include: a son John Snyder, Wichita; a daughter Susan Ooton, Canon City, Colo.; a Brother Wesley Cline, Medicine Lodge; and three granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Jim Cline and Bill Cline.

Memorial Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday Nov, 12, 2005, at United Methodist Church , Medicine Lodge with Pastor Frank DeFisher presiding. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Reno County Cancer Society or the Hutchinson Hospital Foundation in care of Larrison Funeral Home, Medicine Lodge.
