Allen H. "Bud" Janson

Allen "Bud" Janson, 67, died April 24, 1985 at Wichita. Born April 6, 1918 in Kiowa, County, he married Norma Mae Millweed June 26, 1940, at Pratt. He was a retired Gold Bond employee and a lifetime resident of Sun City.

He was a member of the VFW Post 7625 Medicine Lodge.

Survivors include the wife of the home; son, Terry L., Dodge City; brothers, Richard of Greensburg, Irvin of Kingman, Denver of Kirkland, Wash.; sisters, Irene Wedel, Clearlake Highlands, Calif., Martha Wedel, Lynnwood, Wash.; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 17, at the Baptist Church, Sun City, with Pastor Phil Wylie officiating. Burial will be in the Sun City cemetery. Memorials to the Sun City Baptist Church.
