Lasswell Post Office and General Store, Barber County, Kansas.
My grandmother ran the Post Office and store, located about 7 miles SW of Medicine
Lodge, while my grandfather taught in the Lasswell
school. Pictured: (right to left) Chester Hagerman (killed in
France in WWI), Margeret Hagerman (my mother), Elmer Hagerman, Sibyl
Hagerman, Susie Hagerman (my grandmother), Ralph Hagerman and an unidentified person.
