Sharon, Kan. - Carol Raye Saddler, 61, died July 26, 2008, at Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital.
She was born March 17, 1947, in Hardtner, the daughter of Ray and Oneita (Johnson) Saddler. She graduated in 1965 from Sharon High School, and attended Venus School of Cosmetology in Wichita. She returned to Sharon, where she and her sister Pauline owned and operated the House of Beauty from 1967 until 1997. She then purchased Carolís Liquor Store.
She was a very hard worker and this showed in everything she did.
Survivors include: her sister, Pauline York, Wilmore; and brother, Terry Saddler and wife Dee, Sharon.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral service is at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Larrison Funeral Home, Medicine Lodge, with Gary Moore presiding. Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Sharon Fire Department, in care of the funeral home, 120 E. Lincoln, Medicine Lodge, KS 67104.
