Thank you for your interest in the Kansas State Society of the Children of the American Revolution.

The National Society of the Children of the American Revolution, the nation's oldest youth organization, offers membership to anyone under the age of twenty one, lineally descended from someone who served in the Continental Army or gave material aid to the cause of freedom in the American Revolution.

N.S.C.A.R. Mission Statement
"The National Society of the Children of the American Revolution trains good citizens, develops leaders and promotes love of the United States of America and its heritage among young people."

N.S.C.A.R. Six Primary Objectives
1.

To acquire knowledge of American History.

2.

To preserve and restore places of historical importance associated with men and women who forwarded American independence.

3.

To ascertain the deeds and honor the memories of the men, women and children who rendered service to the causes of the American Revolution.

4.

To promote the celebration of patriotic anniversaries.

5.

To honor and cherish the flag of the United States of America above every other flag.

6.

To love, uphold and extend the principles of American liberty and patriotism.

National Program
Each year, the National Society of the Children of the American Revolution creates a National Theme and the National President develops a program that will benefit America.

The 2009-2010 National Theme is Reflections of Independence.

The 2009-2010 National Project is to raise funds to aid in the restoration and preservation of the Morris Island Lighthouse. By working with Save the Light, Inc., a non-profit organization located in Charleston, South Carolina, we will have a greater opportunity to provide financial aid to the lighthouse.
