| Larue Cemetery is a small family cemetery located 6 miles west and about 3 miles north of Columbus, Kansas and is in Sheridan Township. This cemetery is located near a small stream and is long abandoned and probably won't be here much longer. The cemetery has been vandalized sometime in the past and all stones are down and many are broken. There is total neglect. There is no sign and the cemetery is almost invisible in the undergrowth of weeds and brush. There are probably a dozen graves here, but the downed stones are covered with leaves or are completely buried and it is hard to tell the exact boundaries of the cemetery. |
