| Spickelmire Cemetery is a country cemetery and it is located by traveling 7 miles west on Highway 96 from the intersection of HW96 and HW 7 at Columbus, Ks, and then going 1/2 mile south to a road running west across a field and going west down this road for about 1/2 mile to the cemetery. This cemetery is well kept, however, some of the older stones are broken and damaged. There is a creek running along the west edge of this cemetery and it has cut a deep arroyo through the field west of the cemetery. The stones on the west edge of this cemetery are but a few feet from the edge of this arroyo. There was no sign at the cemetery. |
