| Cherokee Cemetery is located about 1.5 miles north of the intersection of Highway 160 and Highway 7 at Cherokee Kansas. The cemetery is very large and is well maintained. Burials were started here by 1870 and the cemetery is still used on a regular basis. I found many Civil War stones in this cemetery. There is a sign at the front of the cemetery along Highway 7. |
