| Davis Cemetery is located in the very southeast corner of Crawford County and is about 1 mile north of Opolis, Kansas and on the west side of the road. It is a small family burying ground and although it is kept mowed now, it has seen bad times in the past. Lots of the stones are broken off and there are graves with no marker at all. This cemetery is listed in William Cuthbertson's book on Crawford County Cemeteries and he visited it in the early 1970s. The cemetery is not listed on your site at http://www.rootsweb.com/~kscemete/crawford/crawford.htm. It is also not listed in Findagrave, although I may change that. Possibly the cemetery goes by another name, but I can't determine it. There is no sign. |
