| One of my distant cousins, Riley Thomas O'neal, is buried at this cemetery. It has been about 20 years since I visited this cemetery. The cemetery is on private property and my notes say it is about 12 miles south of Altamont. I think it is an old family cemetery and there are about a dozen graves there. When I was out there I went to this farmhouse and there was nobody at home and I went around to the outside road and went through a cow pasture over to the cemetery and took a couple of photos. Maybe this cemetery is not called that anymore. Photo 1 is the flat stone of Riley T. and S. Lucy, O'neal. The S stood for Silvira or Silviry. The other stones in the wider view are those of her parents, Silviary Jones and Thomas Jones. ............ John |
