The Wilmore News, December 18, 1936.

Fred Behler, Mr. and Mrs. John Behler and Mr. and Mrs. Bert Behler and family returned to their home at Woodward, Okla., Friday after spending a week here. Sam Behler of Detroit, Mich. accompanied them to Woodward and returned to his home from there.

T. C. Pepperd, C. B. Austin, C. O. Masterson, J. P. Griffin, Sam Booth and Joe Booth went to Pratt Sunday afternoon and served as pall bearers for the funeral of J. W. Anderson. Several other Wilmore people attended the funeral.

Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Ferrin and family, Mrs. Barnett and Geneva made a trip to Sealing, Okla., last Thursday and visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Moreton and family. Mr. Ferrin traded for a new Chevrolet car while there.

Mrs. Lauren Ridge, Mrs. T. C. Pepperd and L. B. Sommers went to Kinsley Tuesday afternoon and brought Miss Geneva Pepperd to Wilmore for the Eastern Star installation. Miss Geneva returned to Kinsley Wednesday morning.

Joe Woods of Greensburg was a guest at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Nick Baker Saturday night. Mr. and Mrs. Nick Baker and Joe Woods went to Sun City Sunday and spent the day at the home of Rev. and Mrs. J. P. Woods.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kingsbury and sons moved last Friday to a station near Clearwater, Kan., where Mr. Kingsbury will be a foreman on a section. The Kingsburys have been residents of Wilmore for several years.
