Came to this county in 1879; had but little means when he came but has grown wealthy by buying land and raising stock and grain, being one of largest land owners in the county. He and his boys raised in one year over 13000 bushels of wheat. Was commissioner six years. He lives in a fine residence near the town of Kanona.
