JOHN E. LOVE
The subject of this sketch came to this county 36 years ago as a boy, and at once became interested in the then boundless prairies, never ending hills and grassy valleys. He early took to the range and for a number of years did practically nothing else, having been with stock all over western Kansas and Nebraska and a goodly portion of Wyoming. In 1884 he came back and has farmed in this county most of the time since with the exception of a few years he was in a feed business in Oberlin. He is now connected with a milk route and is also one of the employees of the Oberlin Mercantile company, having charge of the implement department. Last winter he erected a commodious residence and has a very pleasant home both in the city and also on his farm a few miles from the city.
