The following list contains the names and postoffice addresses of peopled who belonged to the Manchester telephone exchange in 1963. I've included the introduction so you can see how times have changed in the last 40 years.

Hours of service: From 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., except during June, July and August it will be from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
On Sundays it will be from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
On Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Year's days the office will be closed from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
All sickness and death calls will be taken care of at any time.
Do not abuse night service by calling Central or ringing on the line before 6:00 a.m. or after 9:00 p.m. except in case of sickness or death.
General ring, 10 cents per line, except funeral notices.
NOTICE: — By action of the annual meeting, to all assessments not paid by the 20th of the month 10% will be added and if not paid by the end of the month telephone will be cut off.
The annual meeting is held the third Tuesday of October every year.
