FLINT HILLS
GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY
Meetings and Events

We invite you to join us for any of our meetings. They are open to the public and are on the second Thursday of the month. We meet at the Emporia Public Library, large meeting room at 7:00 p.m.
Our programs cover many different areas of genealogical helps, and tips. The members are always ready to share what they have learned along the way, as several of members have been addicted to this hobby for many years. At the meetings we share our pitfalls, and how we conquered our "brickwalls". This encourages the beginning researcher, as well those who have been doing it for a few years. Some of the programs in the past were on Military Records, Homestead Records, How to use the Census, What you can find at the local Courthouse, Using the LDS Family Research Center, and many more. We try to plan interesting and helpful programs each year.
Please come and share
in the fellowship and learning.
