
The cemetery is situated on a hill and well named as Fairview. It is 4 miles south of Olpe, Kansas on Highway 99, and 3 miles east on Road 30. The native blue stem grass grows, wild flowers bloom, and it is a peaceful prairie cemetery. It is kept up and is still in use.
The oldest inscription is that of Clarence
CHILDERS
, son of C. M. and L. E.
CHILDERS
, who died August 20, 1878.
