The following database was taken from records of people emigrating from Norway to towns in Geary County between 1877 and 1923. This is by no means a list of all Norwegians who came to Geary County. Some may have listed their destination as such places as Chicago or New York and later came to Geary County--only emigrants that listed Geary County as their original destination are included below. Junction City was the only town listed as a Geary County destination. There are a few Swedes in this list, who evidently left for the US from a Norwegian port.
