Parker Community Historical Society

We are a non-profit group intent on preserving the heritage of the city of Parker Kansas and the surrounding community.

The Parker Community Historical Society was organized in June, 1980, as a non-profit corporation. Before that time, it was a part of the Parker Betterment Association. All donations to PCHS are tax deductible.

The Parker Community Historical Society meets on the third Tuesday of each month, except in December.
We meet at the 207 West Main museum building in Parker, Kansas, at 7:00 p.m. from November through April, and at 7:30pm from May through October. There is no meeting in December. Membership dues can be paid at the meetings.

The Annual Meeting and Election of Officers is held in November.

The Officers of the Parker Community Historical Society are:
John Riggs - President
Louise Stites - Vice President
Barbara Hines - Secretary
Marilyn Rhoades - Treasurer
Osee Riggs - Recorder

The Board of Directors of the Parker Community Historical Society consists of:
Osee Riggs, Society Recorder
Shirley Osborn, Society Reporter
Wayne Osborn
Kenneth Prentice
Charles Hampton, Sr.
Plus Society officers John Riggs, President; Marilyn Rhoades, Treasurer, and Barbara Hines, Secretary.

Annual Dues are:
$5.00 per person.
A Lifetime membership is available for $50.00 per person.
