Special thanks to the Salina Public Library for hosting this project. In particular, The Smoky Valley Genealogical Society would like to recognize Melanie Hedgespeth, Tech Center manager,  and Jason Coyne, Tech Center Staff,  for their expertise in making this project come to life. Last but not least, a BIG THX goes to those dedicated Genealogy Angels, Mary Jane McIntire and Janet Flickinger who took most of the pictures. Some of their helpers were: Jackie Shiever, Linda Taylor, and Kathy McCullough & Ann Lambert.

* An “*” is used to designate that a cemetery is either abandoned, on private property, could not be located, or no physical evidence of a cemetery exists.

Source: The cemetery names and township information is from the book, "Deaths and Interments Saline County, Kansas 1859~1985" by The Smoky Valley Genealogical Society and Library, Inc. NOTE: The book only incorporates the COUNTY cemeteries.  Gypsum Hill, Roselawn and Mt Cavalry are CITY cemeteries and are not listed in this book.  However, all Salina Co. cemeteries except private and very small ones were included in the digital photo project completed in 2007-2008. The site is under construction. If you have checked previously, please check back because it is becoming more "user friendly" and more complete.
