} PEACE
The deft appeared in discharge of his recognizance and
after hearing the evidence It is ordered that he be
further bound whereupon the said John Hoskins &
George Sisemore acknowledged themselves penally indebited
to the Commonwealth of Kentucky in the sum of $200 that
is to say the said John Hoskins in the sum of $100 and
the said George Sisemore in the sum of $100 to be levied
of their respective goods & chattels lands &
tenements to the use of
the Commonwealth rendered but to void upon the said John
Hoskins keeping the peace toward all good Citizens of
this Commonwealth and more particular Nancy

Commonwealth VS Margaret Collins & Elizabeth Collins
Being in custody charged with the offense of stealing a
child under the age of ten years old and being admitted
to bail in the sum of $100 We? Amos Collins, Pleasant
Sisemore & Benjamin Collins of Clay County --------
undertake that the above named Elizabeth & Margaret
Collins shall appear in the Clay Circuit Court on the
first day of next April term to answer said charge and
shall ------ render themselves amendable to the orders
and process of the court in
the prosecution of said charge and of ------- shall

Isaac McCollum, F.I. Gilbert, Gilbert Collins, Wm M.
McCollum, Calvin Collins, Claiborn Smith, Aggy Sizemore,
Aaron Collins, Pleasant Sizemore, Eliza Scalf, Rebecca
Scalf, Elizabeth Collins, Jesse Scalf, & Mahala Woods
each acknowledged themselves indebted to the Commonwealth
of Kentucky in the penal sum of $100 to be levied of
their respective goods & chattels lands &
tenements to the use of the Commonwealth rendered but to
be void upon their appearance here on the first day of
next term of this court as witnesses for the Commonwealth
against Margaret Collins and not depart without leave of
the Court.

Commonwealth VS Isaac Benge INDICT
(Charged with malicious stabbing of W. Lucas)
Isaac Benge being in custody and admitted to Bail in the
sum of $1000. We, Lewis Benge, W. Benge, Fredrick Linch?
& David Benge of Clay County undertake that the said
Isaac Benge shall appear in the Clay Circuit Court on the
first day of the next April term of this court to answer
said charge and shall at all times render himself
amenable to the order and process of said court in the
prosecution of said charge and if convicted shall render
himself in execution and if he fail to perform either of
the conditions of that we will pay the Commonwealth of
Kentucky the sum of one thousand dollars and this
cause is continued.

Commonwealth VS James & John Chesnut
James and John Chesnut being in custody charged with the
offense of
manslaughter and being admitted to bail in the sum of
$2000. We, Benjamin Chesnut, Blevins Chesnut and John
Howar? Of Clay County hereby undertake that said James
and John Chesnut shall appear in the Clay County Circuit
Court on the 1st day of the next April term to answer
said charge. David Benge?, Elisha St?, David Freeman, Wm
Pigg, W Garland, Westerfield? McFadden, Edward Cornett,
Isaac Cornett & Roger Cornett to be witnesses for the
Commonwealth agt James and John Chesnut.

Commonwealth VS Isaac Cornet INDICT
Isaac Cornet being in custody charged with the offense of
murder and being admitted to Bail in the sum of Two
thousand dollars. We, Robert Cornett, D.B. Stivers, W.
Chesnut, Lewis Benge, B.F. White, of Clay County and
Robert Wilson of Owsley County hereby undertake that the
above named Isaac Cornett shall appear in the Clay
Circuit Court on the first day of the next April term to
answer said charge and shall render himself amenable to
the orders and the process of said court in the
prosecution of said charge and if convicted shall render
himself in execution thereof or he fail to perform either
of their conditions that we will pay to the Commonwealth
of Kentucky the sum of two
thousand dollars and the cause continued.
