  On this 29th day of december 1849 personally appeared before who undersigned gideon gilreath a justice of the peace of the house in and for Whitley county and state of Kentucky, Rebecca Porch a resident of Kentucky in the county of Whitley aged about 90 years who being first duly sworn accordingly to the law doth on her oath make the following declaration in order to obtain the lenghth of the provision made by the act of c?????? ????? on the 2nd Feburary 1848 granting pension to widower of person who served during the Revoluttionary was, that she is the widow of Henry Porch who was a private in the army of the Revolution and who drew a pension at the rate of sixty dollars per year, as to the regiment corps in which he served.  She upon to his orignal application not knowing anything personally herself, she further declares that she was married to the said Henry Porch her said husband aw???? the day of in the ????? in the year 17?? in the county of Franklin state of North Carolina that her said husband Henry Porch departed this life in the county of Whitley state of Kentucky on the 3rd day of april 1849 and that he drew his pension up to the 4th of march 1849.  That she was not married to him porior to his leaving the service but the marriage took place previous to the first day of janurary 1794 ????, at the time above stated.  She further declares that she is still a widower.  sworn and subscribed on the day and year above written before me,    Gideon Gilreath ??,

   On this twenth day of july AD one thousand eight hundred and fifty two personally appeared before one James ???off a justice of the peace ????  ???????? to a ??????????  ?????? within and for the county and state aforesaid.  ??????? A. Porch, who being duly sworn according to law states that he was the second child of Henry Porch now deceased (who was a solider in the Revlutiarny war) and Rebeca Porch was his mother, This afformant was born on the 22nd day of July in the year 1788 (one thousand seven hundred and eighty eight) as appears from the record of her birth made in a bible now in his ??????? in the fall of the year 1800 ???? ????? was made by affiant in his own hand.  Writing by the ???tion of his ???????  the said Rebecca Porch ??? ??????? ?? ???????, from his life at that time, states her age was correctly ??????????? by ??? youngest sister which was in 1795.  His father and mother was ???? ????? and ?????? in ?????? ?? ????? ????? and wife ???? was still a ???????? until his father used ????? to & ??????? before ??? ????? 28th day of july 1852.

  On this 4th day of December A.D. One thousand eight hundred and fifty six personally appeared before me a justice of the peace within and for the county and state afore said Rebecca Porch aged about 100 years a resident of the county and state afore said (having recently removed from Whitley county to said county of Pulaski). Who being duly sworn according to law declares that she is the widow of Henry Porch dec’d. who was a private in the company commanded by Captain BLANK SPACE in the BLANK SPACE regiment of BLANK SPACE commanded by BLANK SPACE in the War of the Revelution that her said husband enlisted at Franklin county, North Carolina on or about this day of BLANK SPACE A.D. BLANK SPACE for the term BLANK SPACE and continued in actual service in said war for the term of more than 111days and was honorably discharged at BLANK SPACE on the BLANK SPACE day of A.D.
 She further states that she was married to the said Henry Porch in the county of Franklin in the state of North Carolina on the BLANK SPACE day of A.D.  by one ??????? Harris a justice of the peace and that her name before her said marriage was Rebecca Denton and that her said husband died at home in Whitley county Kentucky on the ?? day of April A.D. 1849 and that she is now a widow.

Page 5   In her application for a pension by ????? of which she was placed on the pension rolls of the United States and obtained a certificate of pension being dated the 18th day of November 1856.
 She makes this declaration for the purpose of obtaining the bounty land to which she may be intitled under the act approved March 3rd 1855 and the act or acts amendatory thereto. Never having received bounty land under any act of Congress whatever or made any previous application therefore.                                                    Her

                                                Mark   M John M. Perkins and M V Lovitt  residents of Pulaski county in the state of Kentucky upon an oath declare that we saw Rebecca Porch make her crop ma?? To the foregoing declaration and presence acknowledged the same,  And that we believe from the appearance and statements of the applicant that she is the idencial person she repisents herself to be and that she is now a widow.

                                                                     M V Lovitt   The foregoing declaration and affidavit were sworn to and subscribed before me on the day and year above written, and I certify that I know the affants to be credible persons, that the clamant is the person she represents herself to be and that I have no interest in the claims.

Franklin county    Know all men by this presents that ??? Henry Porch and Thomas Brown are herd and bound unto his excellency Richard Caswell ???;  Governor, captain General, and Commander in Chief, and his succ????? In the sum of five hundred pounds  for the time payment thereof, we bind ourselves and each of our being executors and administers jointly and severally firamly by these ????????.  Sealed with our seals and dated this 12th day of December ???? ??? 1786.
 The condition of this obbigation is such that if the above ???????? Henry Porch hath the day and date of this ???????? ?????? and abtained a license to soliminize the rites of matrimony between him and Rebecca Denton   Nor if this shall not ???????? appear any lawful cause to obstruct the marriage then this abbigation to be void, or else to remain in full force and virtue.   Signed sealed and                                                                    Henry Porch    seal
