1814.
The
will was dated 16 Dec 1813. Wife Dorcus to receive
one-half of the estate and daughter, Lodisca, to receive
one-half of the estate.
Charles Lander and David
Allen were to be appointed to settle and manage all the
business.
Witnesses: Christopher
Skillman and Eli Huston.

1806. Nominate and appoint my sons Robert and
John Wright. Wife Martha is to receive maintenance paid
by my son Hugh Wright. Sons James, William, Melvin,
Samuel, Thomas, and daughter Hannah to receive $1.00. My
sons Robert, John, and Hugh to receive 200 acres each
being part of a military survey of Thomas Swearingen.
Plus 200 acres divided equally among my five
daughters-Mary Steward, Margaret Hendrix, Elizabeth
Leer, Sally Hannah, and Jean Champ.
The
executors were 2 son-in-laws-David Leer and Joseph
Hannah.

Black
