Notes by Joyce Enochs: Johnathon had 2 sons George and Jake Partin that was killed in a mining accident together in Fonde, Bell co., Ky May 1931. George had got out safe and looked around and saw his brother Jake had not came out yet and went back in to try to find his brother and the mines collaped killing them both. George was 32 and Jake was 30 years old.
