Hugh Browning 62, of Frakes, Ky.,

died June 19 in the Middlesboro Community Hospital.
He was born in Bell County June 25, 1921. He was the son of the late Jim Browning and Millie Webb Browning; a resident of this area most of his life, he was a member of the New Vine Baptist Church and a retired coal miner and welder of this area.
Survivors include his wife, Edna Browning, Frakes; four daughters, Shirley Barrett, Clinton, Mich., Robin Browning, Frakes, Janice Smith, Middlesboro, Lendora Yeary, Middlesboro; two sons, Raleigh Browning, of Toledo, Ohio, Johnny Partin, Middlesboro; one sister, Tilda Mae Partin, Frakes; three brothers, the Rev. Charlie Browning, of Frakes, Joe Browning, of Frakes, Hillary Browning, Middlesboro; seven grandchildren, Ryian Todd Barnett, Steve Smith, Tonga Smith, Shane Smith, Amanda Day, Lindsay Day and Joni Partin.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the New Vine Baptist Church with the Rev. Raymond Albright and the Rev. Chesley Miracle officiating. Music will be by the church choirs.
Pallbearers will be Willie Hatfield, Sam Partin, Bill Partin, Randy Partin, Charles Browning, Everett Partin, A.E. Miracle and Lonnie Maiden. Burial will be in New Vine Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 Wednesday at the Shumate Funeral Home.
Shumate Funeral Home is in charge.
