Partin, was my Mother Parasitia Partin Brownings Father
James Martin Partin of Frakes, Ky., died at his home on May 6,
1962, at 8:30 p.m.
He was born on July 18, 1880 in Bell County, Ky., the son of the
late W.M. Partin and Matilda Lowe Partin. He was united in
marriage to Miss Sarah E. Mason in 1900, and she preceded him in
death on July 28, 1928. He was a farmer by trade, and had lived
in Bell County all of his life and was a member of the New Vine
Baptist Church. Mr. Partin will be taken to his home this
evening.
Survivors include sons, Hillary and Van Toy Partin of Frakes,
Fred Partin of Pearl, Ky., and Okley Partin of Middlesboro;
daughters, Mrs. John Browning of Chenoa, Ky., Mrs. Philip Lambdin
of Toledo, O., and Mrs. Matt Partin of Clairfield, Tenn.;
brothers, W. J. Partin of Clio, Ky., and Elam Partin of Frakes;
36 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, 1962 at
the New Vine Baptist Church with rev. Mart Miracle officiating.
Song services will be rendered by the church choir.
Interment will be in the New Vine Cemetery.
Cawood Funeral Home is in charge.
