LEVI BROWNING, OBITUARY, AGE 76, APRIL 9, 2001

Frakes-----Levi Browning, 76, passed away Monday, April 9, 2001, at his home.
He was born Oct. 18, 1924, at Chenoa , a son of the late Oscar Browning and Nan Webb Browning. He was a member of Chenoa Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Arbie and Luster Browning; and one infant brother.
Survivors include his wife, Jane Browning, Frakes; two children, Daryl Browning and Tammy Sparks, both of Frakes; two grandchildren, Heather Browning and Kayla Sparks, both of Frakes; two brothers, Elmer Browning, Jellico, Tenn., Alford Browning, Frakes; two sisters Della Lambdin, Frakes and Mae Smith, Haversham, Tenn.; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Lower Laurel Fork Baptist Church with the Revs. Phillip Jackson and Chestel Powers presiding. Music will be provided by the church choir. Burial will be in the John A. Partin Cemetery at Frakes. Pallbearers will be Daryl Browning, Michael Powers, Mark Sparks, Terry Sparks, Quincy Brown, Carl A Lambdin, James Fuson and Arlie Lawson.
Visitation is after 4 p.m. today at his home.
Creech Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
