Mrs. Sophia Miracle, age 57, of Rockwood, Mich., passed away in
Monroe, Mich., Friday, July 15, 1977. She was born December 23, 1919
the daughter of the late Jeff Thompson and Sara Thompson.
She was a former resident of Bell County and member of the Primitive
Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Dan Miracle.
She is survived by a daughter, Doris Fritts, Newport, Mich., three
sons, Argene Miracle, Trenton, Mich., Ralph Miracle, Gibraltor, Mich.,
and Joseph Miracle, Carleton, Mich., two brohters, Willie Thompson,
Insull, Ky., and Clayton Thompson, Page, Ky., three sisters , Sara
Wilson, Insull, Essie Boatright, Oaks, Ky., and Josie Hoskins, St.
Mary, Oh., 19 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, July 18, at 2 p.m. at teh
Primitive Baptist Church in Brownies Creek, Ky., interment will follow
in the Sol Wilson Cemetery, Brownies Creek.
Friends may call at the church Monday from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour.
Cawood Funeral Home is in charge.
