Mrs. Clara Hoskins Davis, the widow of Horace Davis, passed away
Sunday, January 29, 1976, in Chicago, Ill.
Mrs. Davis was born August 29, 1896, the daughter of James and
Josephine Poff Hoskins of Brownies Creek, Ky.
She served as Postmistress of the Miracle, Ky., Post Office for many
years, having succeeded her husband to this post.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. John (Helen) Wojcirchowski,
Chicago, Ill., a son, James O. Davis, Burlington, Wisc., two sisters,
Mrs. Carl (Doxie) Greene, East Pineville, Ky., and Mrs. Leonard
(Beatrice) Hoskins, Miracle, Ky; three brothers Gobel Hoskins,
Miracle, Ky, Beckham Hoskins, Laurel Hill, Ky., and Oliver Hoskins,
Miracle, Ky, and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted today, Wednesday at the Cooney
Funeral Home Burila followed in the Saint Alberta Cemetery, Chicago,
Il., Cooney Funeral Home was in charge.

He is now deceased and passed them on to them.
