Mr. Abe Wilder, 77,
Calvin, Ky., passed away September 16 (1979) at
the Pineville, Community Hospital. He was born April 29, 1902 in
Bell
County, Ky., and was the son of Silus and Estella Jackson Wilder.
Mr.
Wilder was a believer in the Primitive Baptist faith and was a
retired
coal miner. He was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Silus
Wilder,
his mother, Estella Jackson Cheek, his sister, Mary Ellen Cheek;
his
brother, Champ Wilson; and four children Elsie Wilder, Mrs. Ellen
Sutton, Joe Silus Wilder, and George Bradley Wilder. He is
survived
by his wife, Mrs. Ethel wilder of Tanyard HIll, Ky; four
children,
Mrs. Lydia Pittman, Calvin, Ky., Earl Wilder, Cubbage, Kyl, Joe
robert
Wilder, Louisville, Ky., Harley Wilder, Springfield, Oh., and one
brother; George Wilson of Middlesboro, Ky., three sisters, Mrs.
Luvernia Miracle, Calvin; Mrs. Else Cupp, Cubbage, Mrs. Louise
Burnett, Miracle; and 17 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren,
and
one great-great grandchild.
