Cubbage_ Sarah Taylor Pittman passed away Saturday April 11, 1998
at
Pineville Community Hospital. She was born Dec 4, 1911 in Whitley
County, Ky., the daughter of the late James Cupp and Caroline
Miracle
Cupp. She was a member of the Brownies Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her
husbands
Bill Taylor, and Sullivan Pittman; son Ray Taylor, stepson J.C.
Pittman; stepdaughters, Florence Miracle, Marie Miracle, Locie
Wilder,
Sisters, Nancy Hunleys, Lucy Lee, Marie Thompson; brothers Jesse,
Dannie, Otto, Johnny, Willie, Charlie and Abbie; and
granddaughter
Jennifer Taylor.
Survivors include three daughters; Jossie Saylor, Cubbage, Ruth
Tibbits, Pontiac, Mich., Aggie? Vanover, Gulfport, Miss., five
sons;
Luther Taylor, Ray Taylor, Hubert Taylor all of Cubbage, Willie
Taylor, Middlesboro and Arley? Taylor, Tazewell, Tenn., four
stepsons;
Henry Pittman, Rochester, Mich., J.B. Pittman, Clarkston, Mich.,
Sollie Pittman, Germany, C.B. Taylor, Cubbage; three
stepdaughters,
Mrs. ______T. Gibbons, Wayne, Ark., Perry? Miracle, Cubbage,
Magdalene
Dyland?, Mich., 33 grandchildren, 19, great-grandchildren, 18
great-grandchildren, three sisters; Bessie Gibbons, Williamsburg,
Ky.,
Gracie Lundy (_______) Ky., and Lily Hunleys, Cubbage; and four
brothers, Paul Cupp, Barbourville, Ky., Mattie Cupp, Golden,
Colo.,
Leland Cupp, and J. M. Cupp both of Cubbage.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Brownies Creek Primitive
Baptist
Church and Elders Jake Robbins and Kenneth Robbins
.
