| Miracle__ Mrs. Myrtle Wilder,
57, passed away Monday June 3, 1991, at Claiborne County Hospital after a short illness. She was born June 26, 1933 at Flag Pond, Tenn., a daughter of the late Ervin Shelton and Theora Shelton who survives. Seh attended Brownies Creek Missionary Baptist Church. She was a loving Christian mother and grandmother and friend to everyone. Se was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Wilder, in whom she was united in marriage, May 1, 1957. Survivors include one son, Kevin (Cookie) Wilder, Miracle; three daughters, Patricia Roper, Pineville, Gloria Lee, Cubbag, and Lena Pendleton, Elzabethon, Tenn., her mother, Theora Shelton, Flag Pond, Tenn., three sons-in-law, Fred Roper, Billy Lee and Billy Pendleton; two grandsons, Jason and Adam Lee of Cubbage; six brothers Raymond Shelton and Buster Shelton, both of Greenville, Tenn., Warner Shelton, Jonesboro, Ga., Jerry Shelton, Ora Shelton adn Gerald shelton, all of Flag Pond; five sisters, Loretta Turner, Titusville, Fla., Bernice Silvers, Flag Pond; Lois Graybeal, Erwin, Tenn., Clarice Harris, Kingston, Tenn., and Glenda Huff, Lexington, Ky; special friends, Loretta Dorton and Marie Cowan, and a host of nieces and nephews. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Brownies Creek Missionary Baptist Church with the Revs. Buster Shelton, Raymond Shelton and Marty Bramble, and Kenneth Hoskins presiding. Music will be provided by Brenda Ingram, Phyllis Wilder, Carolyn Hoskins, Edith Wilder, and Dana Lee. |
