G. W. Hoskins
Calvin, KY__ G. W. Hoskins, 53, died Sunday, July 2, 1989, at
Pineville Community Hospital.
He was born June 2, 1936, in bell County, a son of the late James
Hoskins and Laura (Taylor) Hoskins. He was a member and active deacon
of the Varilla Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers,
Elmer and Jack Hoskins.
Survivors include his wife, Norma Jean Hoskins, Calvin, three sons,
James W. Hoskins, Pineville, Glenn Hoskins, Middlesboro and Troy Wayne
Hoskins, Calvin; one daughter, Renee Hoskins, Calvin; two
daughters-in-law, Debbie Sue Hoskins, Pineville, and Ronda Hoskins,
Middlesboro; five brothers, Bill Hoskins and J. M. Hoskins, both of
Calvin, Paul Hoskins, Tawas City, Mich., Millard Hoskins, Fort Wayne,
Indl, and Luther Hoskins, Loveland, Ohio; four sisters, Irene Wilson,
Calvin, Evelyn Robbins, Louisville, Betty Jeffery, Ohio, and Beulah
Lewis, Stanford, Ky; two granddaughters Jessica Diane Hoskins and
Melissa Robin Hoskins.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Creech Funeral Home with the Rev.
Bob Sutton and Elder Kenneth Robbins officiating. Music will be by
the Meldrum trio. Bertha Sutton, and Varilla Baptist Church choir.
