Here's a good point made from Hazel Farmer. She wanted me to share it with all.
****Many births have taken place in Bell County over the years to parents who live in Knox Co. Many of those in the Barbourville area still use the doctors and the hospital at Pineville and Middlesboro. There was a time when Barbourville did not have a hospital and then the miners hospital was at Middlesboro and the Pineville hospital was close. I am sure that it drives some researchers crazy when they see that someone was born in Bell County but can not find any other trace of that person there in later years all because the parents lived in Knox or Harlan Co or maybe even TN or VA. ****
