of fifteen shillings debt which sum was recovered by the said Edward Crow

Charles Polke and Christian his wife of Frederick Co. Province of
Maryland to William Hynes of Lancaster Co., Province of
Pennsylvania for the consideration of the sum of four pounds current money
of the Province of Maryland in hand paid have given granted bargained and
sold all that Tract of Land called Polkes Meadows lying and being in
Frederick Co. containing 100 acres standing on a hollow near
Little Tonallaways about 1 mile from
Potomack River. Wits: Thos. Cresap and Martin Moran.
Recorded 20 Mar 1750 with more added 20 Mar 1750 as William
Hynes had to pay the sum of 4 shillings as alienation fine on the land.
