Question: How long since you began to do business as deputy surveyor of this state and have you or not been doing business as a deputy surveyor in different counties in this state principally ever since to this time?

Answer; I have acted as Surveyor for about thirty years and a deputy surveyor in different counties in this State the greater part of that time.
