George Walters of the County of Campbell for and in consideration of the sum of $1 and for the purpose of securing the location of the Licking Valley Railroad on the route through my land sells so much of my land on which said Railway shall be located as may be necessary for the location, construction, maintenance and proper and convenient use of said Railway, etc for single or double tract situated in Indian Spring Precinct etc. so long as it may continue to be used as a Railway but no longer the title and possession to revert to me upon the discontinuance.
Railway Company is to make cattle guards where they make me on farm crossing. Also that they construct said Railroad near the present location and begin work on the roadway between Newport and Augusta within one year, et.c
