Obit: Lou Barton 18 1896 - Barren-Casey County KyArchives Obituaries

Glasgow (KY) Weekly Times, not dated, 1896
"Miss Lou Barton, daughter of N. W. Barton, of near Liberty,
died on the 18th ult. Miss Barton had been confined with fever for 
several days, but her death was unexpected and a great shock to 
her relatives and friends. She was a bright young lady and possessed 
a sweet disposition that won her the love and esteem of all with whom 
she came in contact. She was a devout member of the Baptist church. 
The remains were tenderly laid to rest in the family burying ground on 
the 19th ult., in the presence of a large concourse of relatives and
friends. Weep not, bereaved ones; we have assurance that your loss is 
her eternal gain.
