The City of Bellevue is situated on the Ohio River between the towns of Newport and Dayton. The citizens take great pride in having a large number of historic homes with spectacular views. The 1878-79 Directory of Bellevue provides a rare glimpse of Bellevue’s early government, citizens and businesses just a few years after the town was Incorporated in 1870.
