TOUR PAGE 7

Reaching the end of the hall, we enter the research room where the jail was once located.

To the right are tables for researchers to use.  We also have several microfilm readers.  The rope hanging along the walls was made of torn blankets and used in a 1929 jailbreak.

Lots of items are also displayed in this room such as our large 45 Star flag.

You will find shelves full of books on local history and genealogy and

plenty of family files and other information in our file cabinets.

We hope you have enjoyed this brief tour and will pay us a real visit in the near future.  We are open Tuesdays 12 Noon until 8 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
