| Daryl Bentley, age 53, of Prestonsburg, Ky., the
husband of Sophia J. Blackburn Bentley passed away Wednesday, August 23,
2006 in the Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV. He was born
March 30, 1953 in Martin, Ky., the son of Anna Lee Smith Bentley of
Allen, Ky. and the late Jimmy Bentley. Mr. Bentley was a Honorary member
of the Shriners.
Survivors include two sons, James Matthew Meade, Richmond, Ky., and Jeffery Ray Collins of Emma, Ky., two daughters, Robin Elliott of Allen, Ky. and Brittney Kay Collins, Emma, Ky., one brothers, Randy G. Bentley, Allen, Ky., seven sisters, Cindy Parsons, Allen, Ky., Stella Spurlock, Lexington, Ky., Margaret Hunter, Lexington, Ky., Betty Patton, Lexington, Ky., Mary Daniels, McDowell, Ky., Phyllis Hall, Banner, Ky., Kathy Bentley, Allen, Ky., 2 grandchildren, Mason Burchett and Matthew Elliott. Preceding in death was beside his Father one brother, Jimmy Bentley, Jr. Funeral services for Daryl Bentley will be conducted Sunday, August 27, 2006 at 100 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, Ky., with clergyman Roy Harlow officiating. Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens under professional care of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky. Visitation after 5:00 a.m. Friday here at Hall Funeral Home |
